Q: What is the release date for the 2011 Honda Accord?
And if I wait till that releases will the 2010 model prices go down?

A: The 2011 Honda Accord goes on sale in mid August 2010.

Q: Will the 2011 Honda Civic and Accord be redesigned?
Will the Honda Civic and Honda Accord get redesigns for the 2011 model year?

A: The Accord is set for a mid-model refresh for the 2011 model year, a full redesign would be a year or two after that. The Civic had it's mid-model refresh in '09, it's slated for a total redesign for the 2012 model year.

Q: should I get a honda accord 2011 or toyota camry 2011?
I'm a 27 year old female graduate student. I want a professional looking car that is trust worthy and safe. please help me decide! and please let me know why you picked one over the other.

A: 2011 Hyundai Sonata. Better looking than the Accord and Camry. Better mileage than the Accord and Camry. Better warranty than the Accord and Camry. More 4-cylinder horsepower than the Accord and Camry.

Q: Honda Accord 2011 release?
When will there be photos/public reveal of the 2011 Honda Accord models? Thank you.

A: The 2011 Accord should be the mid-model change. I'd expect photos to surface a couple months before the release, hopefully by June.

Q: Asked by user Dad: If you were given a choice between a 2011 Honda Accord EX and a Toyota Camry SE?
................which one would you choose, and tell me why also. Honda Accord EX Photo: http://i2.paultan.org/2008_Honda_Accord/2008_Honda_Accord_Malaysia_1_Large.jpg Toyota Camry SE photo: http://www.auto123.com/11photo/toyota/camry4dr-se.jpg

A: Now that's a really tough choice! We've owned both Toyotas and Hondas in our family and loved all of them. However, personally, I would prefer the Toyotas. I think they are better made, have a SLIGHTLY better repair record, and are a better car overall. If it were not for a "close encounter of the venison kind," I would likely STILL be driving my 1978 Toyota Tercel today. It was 11 years old when the deer killed it. If it were not for that, I was expecting another 11 years out of it. And ever since that car, I've been "stuck" with a string of horrible vehicles... up until my parents sold me THEIR 1978 Toyota Camry. I'd still have THAT one if it were not for the final transmission failure that put it out of it's misery. Everyone is entitled to my opinion.

Q: When will the 2011 Honda accord coupe be released?

A: Most likely late this year. I would expect to see it late 3rd quarter, early 4th quarter for sure.

Q: Honda Accord 2011 Previews Out Yet?
Hi, does anyone know of any Honda Accord 2011 reviews, photos or preview that have been released? How much would 2010 Accords drop in price when the 2011's are out? Also, when would they be out? Thanks!

A: I have an 08 accord v-6 with leather but no NVA. I think the model is EX-L. I love the tightness and quality, but would like to be able to turn off the "ECO" mode or have the ability to manually shift the automatic through all 5 gears similar to most other manufactures. Take this into consideration before you purchase.

Q: Honda Accord 2011..........NEW?
Any idea about Accord 2011? Will Honda change the car or not?

A: Thats a good question. Im anxious to read your responses from people. I just bought a 2010 last Friday, and so far, I AM IN LOVE WITH IT!!!

Q: Is it better to buy a 2010 Honda Accord or wait for the 2011 model ?
It says the 2011 model would be on sale from August 15th, and lots of dealers seems to have a clearance plan to blow the old model. I am wondering which model might be a good choice in this time ? I would probably pay cash as my credit history is less than 2 years. Any idea is well appreciated, Thanks!

A: Unless there is some design change to the 2011 that you just have to have, buy the 2010. Dealers are holding sales, using/offering incentives, and making deals as it is the end of the model year and they must move the inventory. Hence, you'll likely get a better deal out of a cash deal on a 2010 than a 2011. Get at least an LX trim level or better, and try to determine how long the car has been on the lot. (Check the sticker). Older stock is costing the dealer money and they will be even more eager to deal on those first. Use an an argument that the car is already 1 year old and has depreciated. (That applies even if its still untagged and new). You might also see if they have a demo on sale at a much reduced price. It usually has some miles on it, and is considered a used car when sold, but it would come with full warranty.

Q: When do the 2011 Honda Accords come out?
I'm planning on buying a 2008 Honda Accord V6 Coupe. There's not really any other cars that have caught my interest. I'm not looking to pay over $400 a month. I was planning on purchasing the car in July but I heard that it would be better to buy the car towards October. Will the price drop if I buy the car once the 2011 Accords are released? If so, when do the 2011 models come out? I'm planning on buying it pre-owned from the dealer. I live in California if it makes a difference. Thanks.

A: Excellent choice my friend! The current generation V6 Coupes are absolutely stunning and the manual is fast (relative). There is a charcoal one just down the road from my house (drool!) Honda traditionally releases it's new models in the fall (although the industry itself continues to push release dates up.) So look for the 2011 in August, September, or October. There are no drastic mechanical changes expected for the 2011 Accord. Just some refreshening of the nose and tail and some minor interior changes. It is rumored to get it's next full redesign in model year 2013. That said, I wouldn't expect the arrival of the 2011 to affect your pricing of a 2008. But definitely shop around. It's worth driving an hour or two to get the one you want at the price you want. Good luck!

Q: Which is the better car? The 2011 Hyundai Sonata or Honda Accord.?
I am leaning toward the Sonata but am not sure. Also which do you think looks better?

A: When Hyundai first came out, it was a vehicle that you could not give away. Over the years it has improved greatly but has not yet come up to the quality of the Honda. In short, It's Sonata Honda but getting better all the time. Many years of working on them tells me to go with the Honda.

Q: Hyundai Sonata vs Honda Accord.?
Okay so can the Hyundai sonata 2011 with 198 horsepower and 3161 pds beat the Honda accord lx 2008 with 177 horsepower and 3204 pds?

A: Yes it can with this specs but the comparison is not fair. Why not ask if 2011 Hyundai Sonata can beat 2011 Honda Accord. My answer will be of course Honda Accord.

Q: How much will the Dealer sell me my 08 Accord for?!?
ive been leasing the 2008 honda accord since 2007. and the lease ends in 2011. after the lease ends i plan on buying the accord. how much will the dealer sell it to me for? my dad is leasing it. and hes giving it to me after the lease ends

A: Read your lease contract. all the details are in the documents you signed. If you don't understand them or can't find them, call the lender and ask.

Q: If I decide to get a new car should I sell my car own my own or take the big ripoff from the trade in?
I'm thinking about getting a new car to replace my 1999 Toyota Camry that I have had for 11 years. I'm considering a 2011 Ford Fusion or a 2011 Honda Accord. In my area cars like my Camry are asking between $2700 and $3500. My Camry has 131,000 miles, airconditioning/heating working, radio working, interior in excellant shape and everything on the car is working. I put in new brakes 4 months ago. I got new tires in January. The local Ford dealer wants to offer me $1500 to trade my Camry in. The Honda dealer wants to offer me a very very low trade in of $650. The salesperson at the Honda dealer tries to sugarcoat his excuse for wanting my 1999 Toyota Camry for free. I consider a $650 trade in giving the car away for free. The Honda sales person says cmon your Camry is 11 years old and if you sell it on your own no one will pay you more than $800. I explained to him that the Ford dealer will give me $1500 for my camry. The Honda salesperson tells me my car isn't worth $1500. The Honda salesperson calls my cellphone and mocks me about the current car I drive to get me to purchase a 2011 Honda Accord. Does this Honda salesperson think I'm stupid? The sticker on the 2011 Honda Accord that I want is $23,000. The Honda salesperson only wants to give me $1,000 off the sticker price. Back in 1999 the sticker price of my 1999 Toyota Camry was $22,000. I paid $16,888 for the Toyota Camry brand new. The Ford dealer is willing to sell me the Ford Fusion I want stickered at $23,000 for $16,500 which is a 2010 leftover. Any advice? This is in the United States. I have been to KBB.com to see what my car is owrth. I'm very aware of what my car is worth.

A: I'm a dealer. A good one. A luxury car dealer that runs nearly 100% customer satisfaction month in and out. Salespeople like the individual you are referring to make the good ones look bad. But let me be clear about something: The only reason that there are still dealers around who treat people like this is because people continue to buy cars from them. They take the abuse, low trade values, shady tactics, and still buy the car. The dealer always gets blamed, but the customer genuinely does more to promote this type of business by continuing to buy cars from dealers that treat them poorly. Is it a self-esteem problem? I don't get it. You vote with your wallet? Why didn't you immediately recognize you were being treated unfairly and simply go somewhere else? That's exactly what you should do. You only get "ripped-off" if you are foolish enough to sign the dotted line wihtout reading or understanding what you're signing. Find another dealer to do business with. There are far more good ones than bad ones.
