I am in the market for a new Civic, but I wanted to know when the new 2011 Civic is going to be lauched. Any ideas?

A: Honda usually debuts it's new models between late August and November. You can preorder a new Civic to ensure you'll be one of the first who gets one. Also, the 2011 Civic will be almost identical to the 2010, the full model change is for the 2012 model year.

Hi, I'm currently driving a leased 2007 Honda Civic. My lease expires this coming September and I was looking into purchasing a 2011 Civic when the new model comes out but the rumor mill says that they're going to overlook their usual five-year swap and unveil the ninth generation in 2012? Does anyone have a credible source for this or is it just speculation? Also, does anyone have any information on what the 2011 will look like? I've seen a futuristic red coloured rendering of what it could look like but everything else looks like a European model of the eighth gen. Thanks for your help! A: The 2012 model is when it's going to be totally redesigned and it should be out in late 2011. There is no official announcement from Honda, so, we are all just guessing right now. I guess the Civic is going to be slightly small then the current generation, but it's hard to say for sure what it is going to look like.

A: The 2011 is not a brand new model, the 2012 will be totally redesigned. The 2011 Civics should be out 3rd or 4th quarter, it depends on the dealer. My dealer usually gets them in August, but some dealers don't get them until November. You can pre-order yours so you'll get the one you want.

A: It should be out late 3rd quarter, early fourth quarter of this year. You can go to your Honda dealer to place an order which will help insure you're the be one of the first one to get one.

Q: 2011 Honda Civic SI and a turbo kit?
I'm thinking about getting an SI soon. I'm not much into import cars and I like my V8's but an SI would be a lot better on gas. Well I don't want the damn think to be all slow and crap, so I was thinking about a turbo and intercooler kit. Would an SI be able to handle one without causing the engine light to come on or anything. I know that if you want to put a turbo and a car, the best thing to do is to buy ir for a 1994 or below because of the less emissions. My uncle is a mechanic and he told me he has put a turbo kit on a civic before and the engine light came on because of it. The guy asked him how to take the engine light off and my uncle told him, you gotta take the turbo kit off for that. or a 2010, just any of the latest years

A: If you want to modify the car to that extent, don't buy a brand new one, you'll instantly void the warranty on all things relating to the drivetrain. Engine, transmission, etc etc...no more warranty. buy a used one instead, why pay extra for a new car with a warranty only to toss it out the window?

Q: is Honda making another civic mugen series?
my civic si cope is gettin pretty old... its time to place him in a retirement home, so im looking replace the poor fella. when i was 18 i totaly fell in love with the 08 mugen, but (to answer all these 17 year old keds questions on what kind of $30000+ car to get)... no one that young need a car that expensave, but now im rankin in the big bucks and i have the ultimate job security.... im a nanny, so im looking at the mugen again. however, i want a brand new one and havnt heard a thing about honda comming out with a new mugen series, i asked some dealers and they havnt heard either. so has anyone heard as a tiny rumor about a possible 2011 honda civic mugen si???

A: last one i have heard of is the FN2 Type-R mugen edition, really nice car, saw one actually the other day, on a 59 plate (late 2009), so Mugen will most proberly make another, it just may be a while, and will be costly, the Mugen FN2 costs £37,000 -- has a spoiler, different mapping, interior tweeks, better suspension, and 40bhp more then a standard R, thats alot more money -- you could tune 40bhp from a K20A for less than that yourself.. but just keep an eye on the auto news...preferably from japan as thats where it would be announced first...it would be based on the Type-R rather than the Si though -- at least for the EU and JDM markets

Q: Why Honda doesn't have much CIVIC SI for 2010 / 2011?
I've been looking around constantly and been told from Honda that finding a new Civic SI is rare. What is going on? What is happening? Will the Civic Type R be shipping over? Need answers, thanks.

A: i bought my 08 civic si 2 weeks ago for $20000 and it had 12k miles on it.i would never buy a new cause u can have a almost new car with way less money and it had navigation on it to a new civic that was 2k $ more..

I am 16 years old and getting my license in a month. My brother is currently leasing a 2010 Honda Civic. It was his first car. I have the money to lease one as well but I don't know if I should wait until the 2011 Civic comes out? Which one should I get? The 2010 or 2011? Also would the pricing be the same? Because I think he is paying between $150-$200 a month for his. Thank you

A: Get neither. Why would a 16 year old want such a slow pathetically boring car that sounds like a fart cannon of you modify it?? If your brother were to pick his nose in public all day would you also copy that ?? If he wants to drive something that sound like it is farting don't be a fool and do the same. Get a Mustang, Camaro or Dodge Charger all thee look and SOUND cool............

Q: Camaro OR Civic? HELP NEED ADVICE ON CARS?
I know these cars are very different. But I'm 16 years old and I'm getting my license in a month and I have the money to lease either the 2010/2011 Chevy Camaro or the 2010/2011 Honda Civic. But I'm just afraid the police are more likely to pull me over in the Camaro. I will be driving as safely as I can but I also want to drive my friends around BUT in my state, you can't drive people under 20 without someone over 25 in the car as well. BUT my friends are 16 or 17. But I will most likely drive them when I get my license. So my question is: If I get the Camaro, will the police pull me over more than if I got the Civic, even if I were driving safely?

A: Get the Camaro because the cops are not going to pull over a nice looking brand new car for a few reasons. First they think to themselves they are going to assume the person in the car isn't a 16yo but some one who is wealthy and in their 30-40s. Second, the Camaro SS is B.A.! Third, cops don't really bother with those laws. Last year when I 1st got my license, I got pulled over for doing 8 over( I know pathetic), but it was at 10:30 or a bit later and the cop said i can do three things. Either call your parents to get you, act like this was a routine stop and let you go or do a whole punch of paper work because your driving curfew is at 9. He was nice and told me to just go home. Cops wont care to much about friends in the car unless you pissed him off.

A: The pricing should not be any more than a few hundred more than the 2010 model. Yes, the EX-L does come in both the 2dr and 4dr.

A: They may very well have a program to fit your needs. there are dealers that will help you get out of your lease-do the homework and see what can be done.
