Q: What are some SUVs similar to the Honda Element or Nissan Cube?
So I am trying to find a SUV I like and I want more options. I LOVE the Honda Element and the Nissan Cube, but I want to see if there are any other cute SUVs that I would like. I haven't found any so does anyone have any recommendations as to which SUVs are similar to either of these. What I like about them is that they are small and their shape it looks more modern so ya.

A: I used to own a Honda Element and enjoyed it for about 3-1/2 years, but it only seated four and I grew tired of the clam shell doors and tall profile. Replaced it with a second generation Scion xB (2008-2010) and I absolutely love this ride. Technically it's not an SUV, but neither is the Cube. The xB is big on the inside, small on the outside, fun to drive, has a good balance of performance and economy, is nicely equipped and reasonably priced. It's not available in AWD, but with traction control and stability control it is quite capable in snow, plus it has ABS and airbags all around. Earlier this year I took it on a 7500 mile cross country trip in all kinds of road and weather conditions and speeds up to 80 mph. Got 30 mpg and enjoyed every moment of the trip. Scion's "no-haggle" pricing makes buying a much more pleasant experience, and you can get all kinds of TRD and aftermarket accessories to personalize your xB if you're into that kind of thing.

Q: How do I find this part on my 2003 Honda Element?
I have a 2003 Honda Element LX and I'm trying to find the back windshield wiper fluid reservoir. Can anyone help me? Thanks!

A: The main tank serves both the windshield and back window. If you're not getting fluid out of the back window sprayer the tube is gummed up somewhere.

Q: Honda Element or Ford Escape for a recent college grad?
I'm a recent college grad and my current car is beginning to fade - and has no trade-in value. I need a bigger car for my job but I don't want begin spending large amounts of money on gas. I need something reliable, that I don't have to worry about it breaking down since I tend to travel often. I am looking into the Honda Element or the Ford Escape. Any suggestions?

A: Ford Escape!! I have a base 2009 Escape automatic and it has given me no problems. It has a huge back seat and trunk area. Also the 4 cylinder engine it has is very powerful, i've heard the Element's isn't very good and strains up hills. I also get 28 mpg overall, 50% highway at 75 mph and 50% city!

Q: whats the website to play the honda element and friends game?
i remember i played this game a few months ago but i can't remember the website i played it on... you drive around in a honda element and you meet different animals and play games.

A: This is the only place I've found it:http://www.nyx.net/~agambino/swf/element/index.html

Q: I am looking to replace the AC condenser on my 08' Honda Element?
I am looking to replace the AC condenser on my 08' Honda Element. I've already got the replacement part. I'm not exactly sure how to get to the existing unit though. Can anyone point me to a replacement guide or give me instructions for doing this?

A: You will probably need to remove the front bumper and grill before having access to remove the condenser. There are also specialized tools needed to disassemble the fittings on the inlet and outlet of this part. As new as the car is, you should be able to have your local Honda service techs fix this under warranty.

Q: How to reset the flashing green key that keeps a 2005 Honda Element from running?
I recently replaced the ignition in my Element and now it won't start because of a security feature. I do have a scan tool, but I don't know if it is capable of resetting the code if I updated it.

A: What you need to do is have the vehicle taken to the dealer where they can program the key into the immobilizer. It charges approx 1/2 hour labor. You have to use a Honda HDS tool and have a password for the system which you cannot get, only a dealer can get it.

Q: The Honda Element is starting to grow on me. What is the consensus - is this car ugly or cool?
No doubt the Element is practical. But at first I did not want to drive a box! Now, the new ones are starting to look pretty cool to me. What do you think?

A: The newer one's look way better. i like how Honda made a consistent grell for their entire truck/SUV line of vehicles.

Q: Will this bench fit in a Honda Element?
I am picking up a bench that measures 71"X30"X36". Will it fit in a Honda Element?

A: Aaahh don't think so if you mean seat.....if you mean like cargo yeah.....with seats down.....

Q: Is the Honda Element a good car?
I'm a teenage girl who will get her first car in about a year and I am in love love love with the Honda Element. I mostly like it for its versatility and for its spaciousness. I would share the car with my sister. I was wondering if anyone who has had it can tell me about it and it's pros/cons, and if it would be a good car for a teenager who needs it mostly to go to marching band practice, football games, school and work. Thanks!

A: New or used? Overall Elements are great cars, but 2003 was the first year for this Honda model and there were some new model issues. By 2006 the bugs were worked out. The Element is unique, big on the inside, small on the outside, fun to drive and relatively comfortable. It's no street racer, but has a good balance of power and economy and is available with AWD. On the downside, the clamshell doors can grow tiring over time and the Element only seats four. For everything you could possibly want to know about the Element check out http://www.elementownersclub.com It's a very active and informative site, plus it's free.

Q: What can go wrong for buying a 2005 Honda Element that has only 15000 miles?
What should I beware of the possible problem, if this car hasn't been driving since the owner got sick 4 years ago.

A: depends on where it has been stored but if it has never been run during this time, all fluids will need replacing, fuel system will need thorough cleaning (unless it is a diesel car), battery needs replacing, tires and brakes will need checking.

Q: How can I set up my Honda Element with solar panels to run a refrigerator, computer, etc.?
What do I need, the panels themselves of course, extra batteries?, 120-12 volt inverter? What else?

A: u can't do it.........u cannot fit big enough panels on that vehicle and not totally obstruct vision not to mention dangerous to drive down the road......the panels that will fit will not provide enough power to run a fridge.......tv and dvd player even a playstation but not a fridge....... now u might b able to hook up a system that runs it on a deficit so basically ur running on battery power and then turn the fridge off for 3-4 days so the batteries recharge........but i dont think this will work either sine it will need such a vast amount of voltage in order to get the fridge down to temp...... now u could cheat the system and get bags of ice or frozen water bottles and put them in the fridge when u turn it on every time....but then u jsut have a glorified cooler....
