Q: 2011 Toyota sienna or 2011 Honda Odyssey?
Should I buy 2011 Sienna Limited now or wait for 2011 Honda Odyssey this summer?
A: ^^^
Hahahaha Buy the Sienna
Piss off Alan up there he think you have to be a woman to buy a Sienna. (OH LOOK HE'S GONNA REPORT ME LIKE A WOMAN)
hahahahhaahhahaha....
Q: What month does Honda release their new models particularly the Odyssey 2011?
A: Honda and Toyota usually come out with new models in July or August. If the car is completely redesigned sometimes they will come out earlier. They will not tell anyone of early release dates because it would make it hard for the dealer to sell the old body style. If there is a glut of old models in dealer inventory sometimes they will hold back the release date.
Q: Should I consider buying the 2010 honda odyssey or wait for the 2011?
I know if I get a 2010 I can get a lot better deal supposedly because of the new body the 2011 will have. I saw the 2011 at the auto show and it was pretty nice but the deals may be for the 2010's and if that is the case when should be a good time? Now? Are the 2011's that much better looking?
I've looked at the Sienna's too but then again all the negative publicity has made me more reluctant at least for now...
A: Is the new appearance that important? If you think the 2010 looks fine, go for the better deal. The car is more or less the same, new body or not. It also sounds like you're still debating on cars, with the mention of the Sienna. If that's the case, try a site like TrueCar.com to compare prices/accessories on 2010 models if you want the most for your money.
Q: Which one would you buy, honda odyssey or toyota sienna?
We are thinking of selling the 2003 odyssey and buy a new one. Which one is a better choice or should we wait for the 2011 to come out since it is kind of late in the season for 2010? experienced drivers please.
A: You also should compare car insurance quotes for cars before buying one, for example here - carinsurance.yoll.net
Q: Is it just me or are the 2011 Odyssey and Crosstour ugly as sin?
I mean really the new Odyssey looks like the back 1/3 was glued on, the door track is huge, the door handle configuration is a hot mess and it just looks like a bloated car. and does the crosstour really need and explination? What is with Honda putting out these crazy ugly cars lately?
here the odyssey pics. Waring: prolonged exposure may induce vomiting... http://blog.caranddriver.com/2011-honda-odyssey-official-photos-and-info/
A: No, it's pretty ugly. I'm not liking the new Odyssey, and I pretty much hate the Crosstour. You're right about the sliding doors and back 1/3. Honda is carrying over the grille (not a huge fan) on all the new vehicles, and that's the only decent part of the car. For some reason, the new Odyssey kind of reminds me of this beautiful car: http://img98.imageshack.us/img98/2492/trucksterqa7.jpg Maybe it's not THAT bad!
Q: Should i buy 2011 toyota sienna even after toyota mess?
I need your openion about buying 2011 toyota sienna. i am in urgent need of minivan and left with 2 options. Sienna or odyssey. Can`t wait that long so thinking to go for sienna?
does anybody buy 2011 sienna? how was their experience? should i trust toyota even after all this recall and safety problem?
A: Ford is making better quality and value than Toyota or Honda. Next best value Honda
Q: What is your take on the new 2011 Toyota Sienna's cheap, poor grade dash plastic? Why does toyota do this?
Looking at the all new redesigned 2011 Toyota Sienna, I noticed that the new design was very nice, and it is quite freshened up form the 2010 models-- but I was left aghast at the horrifically cheap, hard, scratchy, bare unpadded dashboard, which looks nice from a distance, until you get behind the wheel. It is similar to the Venza dash, but is completely hard and unpadded much like Chrysler's cheap interiors. Seeing it close up and touching it with your fingers or nails produces a hollow scratchy, very cheap tactile appearance and feel, and this plastic seems to permeate much of the interior of this $26,000 to $38,000 minivan. I am wondering what the logic of this is, since Toyota put so much redesign work into it with the hopes that it would compete favorably with the Honda Odyssey. Admittedly, minivan owners don't get much in the way of class and style because of the vehicle type itself. And so the appearance of the interior is especially important. Why would Toyota put such repulsive plastic all over the dash board? I am simply amazed, and very discouraged, as I had hoped to buy one. But I couldn't stand looking at all this cheap plastic for the next ten years! Can anyone recommend a minivan with higher quality interiors to that which has now become so typical of Toyota? ...Thanks.
A: Frankly, I think the general public has overrated all Toyotas. They are not the product they used to be when they produce engines with double roller timing chains. I would rather get a Honda. Heck I'd buy a Dodge Caravan before I bought a Toyota Sienna. My dad drove a Dodge caravan as a work van for his business. He got over 400,000 miles out of it. The engine got rebuilt once and the AC was fixed once too. Oh, and it never was involved in a recall. It was an 88 caravan 3.0 V6. The original transmission never needed rebuilding either. He gave the van away to a close friend simply because he was tired of it.
