Q: what is the max size of rims i can put on a Honda Ridgeline?
i want to know what are the biggest rims i can put on a Honda Ridgeline?
A: You can go up to 24" without problem but for practical use and looks i suggest to go for 20" or 22". Hope this help!
Q: Is the Honda Ridgeline going to be discontinued?
Some people say yes and some no, what have you heard?
A: No but don't be surprised if it gets even more car like than it already is to help Honda meet the new CAFE laws.
Q: is the Honda Ridgeline a good truck?
I am looking into a first car and we need a truck. I was looking at a Dodge Ram but the Honda caught my eye and i thought that it would be a good truck due to Honda's reputation of making high quality cars.
What are the pros and cons of this truck? Would you recommend this for a first time driver?
Thanks!
A: honda vs. dodge is an easy question. first off when it comes to "trucks" which the honda ridgeline isn't don't care what anybody says it'll never be a truck and looks goofy as a bull mounting a phesant. honda doesn't make quality vehicles cars, or suv's (like I said the ridgeline ain't a truck). alright now then ask yourself if you need a truck? what is it going to be used for? is it just going to be something that you're going to drive around and never use? or are you going to buy something that'll be used to haul thing in and tow with? will it be used in the winter? and possibly taken down roads that are wothless where you'll need 4wd? all these questions need to be factored into your decision. if you're going to be hauling nix your honda right away the suspension isn't heavy enough to handle haluing. that's fact not fiction. when it comes to towing they're not going to handle what a ram can. once again fact not fiction i've been around pickups and towing my whole life. when it comes to winter however you might be better off with the ridgeline depending I belive you'll have a little more weight out back however you're going to have to throw gravel, bricks, blocks, or sandbags in the back which leads to you needing more payload. taken down mud roads or a road needing 4wd it's a no brainer you'll need the dodge there for sure. more ground clearance, heavier suspension, better axles and a beefier t case (can't beat a new process transfer case). all these need to be factored into your decision. as well as the size of your family and what not. older trucks are always better trucks. what's going to sustain more damage in a wreck between the 2? obviously if you want a ram you need an older one newer ones look goofy and the phrase "they don't build them like they used to" is true. if a 97 1500 and a new rigdeline got in a fight there's no question the ram'll come out on top. however when it comes to insurance dodge's cost a pretty penny. even with no accidents where you're at fault and with no tickets. for some reason they're the most expensive to insure. don't ask me why I've been trying to figure that out since I bought my truck. it's more expensive to insure than my old truck and it's older and has more miles then again it'll do more damage to somebody and parts are a lot more expensive (parts alone for ball joints are $800+). so all of the things are listed need to be considered when it comes to buying your vehilce. you can't kill a 318 (5.2 I belive) and well the 360 ain't a bad motor either. dodge transmissions aren't as bad as everybody makes them out to be. hell our ford needed a vavle body at 35000 if I recall correctly and that's not a cheap fix. take warranty into account as well. honda's got what a 10 year 100,000 mile warranty? is it worth the paper it's written on? NO. no warranty is worth a da*n. I've been through enough warranty bullsh*t and everything's abuse and never the manufacturer's fault go figure. so weigh your optins and go with what you think is best. personally i think you're a fu*kin idiot for asking weather a dodge is better than a honda and not just going with the dodge but that's just me.

A: It is a good quality truck,,,, but keep in mind it is a sport truck
if you are looking for a work truck or a truck to do a lot of towing, then I would look at dodge or ford.
keep in mind it is also a fair bit more expensive then other trucks and insurance would probably be more too.
for a first car/truck i personally would not recommend it
Q: What is the best color for a Honda Ridgeline?
A: "Burned to a crisp"
Ridgelines are ugly, and look best following a total burn.
Q: I have a brand new Honda Ridgeline truck an 06 model. should I trade it in for something better?
I was thinking of getting a dodge but my truck now is sittin on 20 inch halos. It is bad as$! Not sure if I want to trade it.
A: totally get a dodge. i have a dakota that iam going to trade up for a 1500, they kick ass.
dodge trucks take a hella abuse without complaining. i kick the living sh!t out of mine and its still running. i put 100,000 miles on it in one year, drove the snot out of it, and its still working like clock work. the most ive ever had to do with it (its 6 years old) was replace the steering rod.
I grew up in a die hard chevy family, but after owning a dodge, it just makes those trucks look like wieners.
sell the ridgeline and get a dodge.
although i have to admit that the titans got better trial reviews than the dodge, which came in second. ive never driven one, but considering my standing on dodge, i was amazed that a nissan performed better.
Q: Where is the low side service fitting for a honda ridgeline?
A: the service fitting should be on the pipe going to the air conditioning compressor suction side. It will have a light blue (powder blue) cap that is about twice the size of the cap on valve stem of a tire. That cap unscrews and the fitting is under it. The system uses R-134a refrigerant.
hope that helps
Q: Honda ridgeline navigation system?
Honda ridgeline navigation system won't turn on its just blank. won't let me put in security code. already tried to dissconect the battery.
A: Before heading to the dealer, try this:
1. Disconnect the negative battery cable.
2. Disconnect the positive battery cable.
3. Take the cables and hold the metal ends together for over 30 seconds.
4. Reconnect the positive cable.
5. Reconnect the negative cable.
See if the navi unit resets. If not, sounds like the unit is bad.
Q: Is the Honda Ridgeline the best truck on the market?
A: No, I think Dodge Ram SRT-10 is the best. It's top speed is over 248 km/h.
